Loren Chorley

loren-bio-picBorn in The Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney, Australia, Loren studied mathematics, theoretical physics and information technology at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra. During his time at the ANU, he worked in retail selling cameras, and practiced amateur photography for over 5 years. After finishing his degrees, he started work at the Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) as a technical services officer working on geo-data management.

In 2011, he met Apolline, another current resident at La Menuiserie, during her exchange in Canberra. After travelling with her in Australia and Europe, he decided to move to France more permanently.

Once settled in France, Loren started working as a freelance web designer and programmer. He now makes websites for the artists that live at La Menuiserie as well as making and maintaining the site for the association.
